Is having the latest technology a want or a need?
How often do you get a new cel phone or mp3 player? Did you really need a new model? Do you consider the environmental impact of these purchases? If you are addicted, how can you break your addiction?

Wants or needs are both two very different things. I would mostly say that having the newest technology would be a want because if you have an older phone that works why would you need a brand new one. also since a lot of people want the new latest technology big factors have to make a bunch of the technology which makes the factories produce a lot of greenhouse gasses.
