Is having the latest technology a want or a need?
How often do you get a new cel phone or mp3 player? Did you really need a new model? Do you consider the environmental impact of these purchases? If you are addicted, how can you break your addiction?
Wants or Needs? >
Needs in a civilized country:
Today the question is: what do we really need?
In this consumerist world we take everything for granted and that leads to forget the primary needs; but this isn’t same in the third world. For example, in Africa people are starving while we (first world) waste a lot of food. I think that we have to help them: we shouldn’t give them food, instead we should teach them how produce it.
In those years we want futile things that aren’t necessary to survive: for example, we want iPhone X (also Galaxy s9 is okay) but we don’t desire water because we already have it.
The people in the first world are spoiled, for the reason we have a lot of things and we want more; instead the third world have nothing and they content with little.
Bye and think about it!
