Compare the result of my own carbon footprint on the website and the average, my own footprint is much higher than the standard. I really got a shock that I used so many resources in the last year. The reason might be I travelled a lot last year so my footprint is higher than the average. And another reason might be that China has many people still in the countryside that made the average lower. But all of that, we should restrict our carbon footprint that made the environment better.

Also you mentioned that the people of China keep their carbon footprint average low because of the people that live in the countryside. Do you find that the people who live in the country as being more conservative? More importantly what systems do they use to ensure their carbon footprints aren't

I was surprised that the average was so low, but you explaining that China has a lot of countryside makes a little more sense to me. Traveling, especially flying, will definitely raise your average carbon footprint, but I am curious about your region's recycling initiates and also the averages of the food section of the test. Food was my largest category and I was just wondering if the different cultural cuisines would have any effect on an individual carbon footprint.
