Is having the latest technology a want or a need?
How often do you get a new cel phone or mp3 player? Did you really need a new model? Do you consider the environmental impact of these purchases? If you are addicted, how can you break your addiction?

I think that
buying the latest technology when needed then yeah go ahead and get a new phone or whatever else you get but sometimes people waste their money just to get the latest device just because
I totally agree with you. Buying the world's latest technology is really useless in my opinion and its a waste of money. It also a waste of resource, having the create the newest device when you already have a perfectly functioning device that can call and text perfectly fine. I just don't understand people that chases after the trend to buy the latest device. It's such a waste of money! Think about it:
a typical Iphone XR (latest phone) cost like about 1.6 K and think about how much things you can buy with 1.6K. A good quality TV, a couple months of grocery and etc.. and still there are those people still going to the apple store lining up every time for a new phone when theirs is completely fine.
