I think that people do not need the newest technology. There are few changes between the recent iPhones or Samsungs. People want the newest tech to look cool or important. However, I do think that people need some sort of technology. Today, students rely on computers to do classwork and homework. Certain professions need phones and computers to stay in contact with their employers and clients. Our society has become dependent on certain technology and we would not me able to function without. Although, social media is where we can break our addicition. Teens and adults can limit their freetime that is spent on their phones watching YouTube or scrolling though Instagram. I think if we try our best to break some of out social media addiction CO2 emissions will decrease.
