One way how to lessen the amount of carbon we use is replace electric powered lights with solar paneled lights. These kinds of lights are energy conservative, and provide the same light as a light bulb. Another way to cut down the use of carbon is to travel less by car, plane, boat, etc. Instead, we should bike, walk, or run more often. Yet another way of cutting down on carbon is to not waste so much food. Americans waste 20 pounds of food a month, so if it's possible to cut that down, our carbon levels would decrease rapidly

I agree with all of Jacks points about "going green" and lessening our own Carbon emissions. But I also think that going green is a hard thing to do. Getting solar panels to cover your roof and use solar energy instead of electricity would cost a lot more. One solar Panel costs 25 - 35 thousand dollars. Also multiplying that by about 10 it would cost almost 250,000 dollars.

I agree with Skyler "going green" would be very difficult because we as humans rely on electricity so much and we are careless. Getting solar panels and wind turbines all have there issues; such as the emissions of Co2 into atmosphere when they are being transported. In the long run solar panels and wind turbines will lesser the carbon emission.

Going "Green" is a great idea I agree with Skylar on the solar panels and I also read about something that they are trying to put solar panels on cars. This might help better than an electric car which parts are made in a factory that produces lots and lots of pollution.

I agree with Jack, everything to make this environment better needs to do with going " green".  And one of the biggest ways of doing this is to become solar. For example on the other comments above, it was mentioned something about solar cars, this would be a great idea because cars are one of the biggest factors of pollution which hurts the environment the most. Solar Panels get their source of energy from the sun, not CO2. Jack has a brilliant statement about biking, running, or even walking to your destination. If that's too far then maybe bike, run or walk to a local bus stop or train that can take you to your destination. This will also get that 30 min of exercise in for you as well, it helps the environment and yourself!!! Lets start being "GREEN" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
