One of the biggest factors contributing to pollution and CO2 emissions is cars. Battery electric cars generate half the emissions of the average gasoline car. This includes pollution from battery manufacturing. The cons to these cars, however, are they're expensive to produce and, therefore, buy, and there are few charging stations throughout the country. If these cars were to become more normalized in the future, though, it could lead to a dramatic decrease in climate change.
