I think the future of renewable energy lies in windmills. While they can be unreliable sometimes, the only real downsides are space and visual/noise pollution, both of which can be solved by [ocean wind turbines](https://insideclimatenews.org/news/1112 … l-caldeira). Winds are much stronger near the ocean, making the normally inefficient windmills much more productive. This also keeps them away from residential areas to avoid visual and noise pollution.

I agree with you Ryan on the fact that the world needs a new renewable resource but I think that windmills would not be the best thing to use. I say this for a few reasons, one would be that windmills are very expensive for the average family, it costs 48,000 thousand to 65,000 thousand dollars just to install the windmills. Next, the windmills take up a lot of space and the average family could not have the windmill close enough to be efficient. In closing, the world needs a new source of energy but I do not agree that windmills are the way to go.
