Think Big >
Public Transportation and Electricity
There are so many ways we can help decrease our carbon footprint and the amount of CO2 we release into the air. We are able to do this by not leaving on lights or carpooling with other people. Both of these options will help decrease the amount of CO2 in the air limiting our carbon footprint.
Sydney, I agree with you. People use electricity too much and they don't think how harmful overuse of electricity actually is. Overuse of electricity harms our planet. We should save electricity as much as possible and use it when we really need it. Also, public transport is one of the most effective causes why our carbon footprint is high. Cars, buses, airplanes, trains produce carbon dioxide which causes greenhouse effect in Earth's atmosphere. Cycling or taking a walk is more acceptable type of transportation and it is also healthier. People must change their everyday routine and lifestyle if we want to avoid ecological disasters and climate change.
I agree with you at some point, but I do not think this would be enough to stop global warming so there should be more. But that's a good start.
I agree with you! Public transportation is a key to keep big cities green and sustainable. In most big cities there are lots of public transportation like in San Fransico we have Bart and bus along with New York there is the subway and bus'. Do you think taxies would be sustainable for big cities or would uber/lyft be better?
I agree with the ways to reduce the carbon footprint. Carpooling with other people is an easy way to reduce the footprint a lot.
I think that we should bike or take a bus in the city instead of driving. It would reduce traffic and CO2 pollution
