stop eating meat

gabyacanada

by eating meat we are devastating our planet. the agriculture and livestock industries contribute the most amount of co2 emissions to climate change. for every 1lb of beef it takes over 2000 gallons of water to produce. forest are being cut down to make room for the demand of meat in this world. if we stopped eating meat we could stop climate change from being an even bigger threat. so please, consider what's on your plate. it won't be easy so start slow to make a big impact.

There are some very good points hear. If everyone did stop eating meat our we could stop destroying land and killing our planet with the threat of climate change. That is in an ideal world though, it has to be kept in mind that people could have a lot of trouble with not eating meat because it has been eaten for generations and it would be a huge shock to the system. So if we set reasonable goals for not eating meat it would still strongly help the issue of climate change.

reducing our meat consumption is very important if we are going to take a stand against climate change. we should start by slowly changing our diets. this includes choosing a more sustainable meal when you go to a restaurant, buying organic and locally grown produce, and most importantly inspiring others to make a change. although meat may be tasty, the damage its doing to our world doesn't make it worth it.
