Let's Un-Industrialize
Now hear me out, because this sounds very strange by the title alone. When the Industrial Revolution hit places such as England, America, and China, the general quality of life went up. One consequence to this was a sharp increase in carbon emissions because factories that were brought by the revolution ran on coal power as well as electricity. Ever since, industrialized countries have notably been producing much more carbon emissions than others. Granted, the Industrial Revolution was a step in a good direction however humanity may need to take a step back as well in order to help control our greenhouse gasses in order to find a long-term solution.
