4OCEAN
I just wanted to talk about this organisation that I discovered about a year ago and that I personally love.
Everything started from two guys that wanted to surf and, as they arrived at the beach, they found it full of junk. This made them think a lot and they started assuming people to puck up the trash from the ocean and from the beaches. How do they pay them? Well, we can buy a bracelet (that is totally from recycled materials, if I'm not wrong) and help them and it really isn't expensive.
Every month they also have partnerships with other associations, so there are different colours of the bracelets and now they're getting a little more known, so I just wanted to spread this amazing thing. You can also help cleaning up!
If someone is interested, here's their site: https://4ocean.com/
I agree with you. These organisations are very amazing!
I find very admirable people who start these activities without any profit but only because they care about our planet and who lives on it. It's important to sustain their cause with our help and I think that everybody can afford to give some money to them. This simple gesture can help nature and safeguard it!
I completely agree with you. It is an awesome way to get involved and help reduce the amount of plastic in the ocean. 4ocean is a United States company focused on removing plastic waste from the ocean and is funded by selling bracelets made from recycled materials. By purchasing a bracelet, you’ll remove a pound of trash from the ocean and coastlines while protecting the Great Barrier Reef and all the species it supports from ocean plastic and other threats. 4,248,777 pounds of trash have currently been removed by paid 4ocean employees.
