I think there are a lot of big and bold things to help reducing personal, community, country and even global carbon footprints. One thing that I really believe in is solar panels. I have don't some calculations on my house alone and not only would that be helping my carbon footprint but also saving me 14,000 dollars over 20 years. That may not sound like a lot for 20 years but if you think about it, that's still 14,000 dollars! And if we're talking about saving money on a smaller scale, you would be saving 100 dollars a month... that sound pretty good to me.
