Energy Sources

Currently, the most popular sources of energy in the United States are gas and coal. Also, the United States emits the second most carbon dioxide of all nations in the world. These sources are not sustainable. More sustainable sources, such as water and wind energy are increasingly popular, but are not prominent enough to make a significant difference in carbon emissions in the US. Nuclear energy is much more efficient than gas and coal; although, stigma around the word "nuclear" has caused many plants in the US to close down. Which energy source do you believe the US should focus on increasing?

I think the the United States should focus on clean reliable energy sources such as   more clean nuclear energy or even more clean sources such as wind power. What do you think will happen to the energy production of the United States in the next  10 years and how do you feel we as a people will be affected?

What do you feel that the best alternative energy source to coal and gas is?

Tabita17

Yeah ,I agree with you .

I think not only the US, but the entire world should work on trying to use renewable/sustainable energy sources. This would greatly benefit the environment and our atmosphere if the world came together. Here is a website that explains what sustainable energy is, and some examples of it: https://www.conserve-energy-future.com/ … energy.php

Yes, I agree with you. I think that the United States should spend more time and money on ways to reduce the amount of Co2 emissions and focus and preventing Climate change

What types of methods do you feel that that the government could take in reducing the about of plastic waste in the oceans and co2 emissions from energy producers such as coal and gas?

McNeilW22

How do you think we can transition from coal to water and wind on a national scale? What would be the best way to make this viable in the future?
