Nowadays, with our constant use of social media, I've been seeing many posts about climate change and political awareness. All of these are very inspiring, educational, relevant, and interesting to learn about, however, I feel like we need to do more. Posting on social media may spread the news about a horrible event that took place, but what do we do from there? We need to be taking our new knowledge out into the world and using it to make bigger changes. There are many ways that we may view as small, but they do make a difference. Signing a petition you see online that you support, voting in the elections (if of age), sending an email to a representative or even going to talk in person, and so much more. And I'm not saying that we should stop posting about these things on our stories, because like I said, I think they are important, but let's go the extra mile and take action!
