How to reduce your carbon footprint
There are numerous ways we can reduce our carbon footprint. There are really simple ones that I am sure some of us forget to do. These include turning off the lights when we are not using them, turning off the water when we do not need it, walking places instead of driving, taking shorter showers, and much much more. We can even sorta reduce our carbon footprint by educating others about these ways to decrease our footprint.
I agree strongly with this. The point about education is especially important. However, I would say that students are taught small things to save the environment, like turning off the lights or water. Students aren't taught the systemic problems in our society, which are the root causes of climate change, pollution, and others.
I agree with you, Bella. I think that educating a lot of kids in schools about easy and simple ways to reduce their carbon footprint will really help in the long run. People would start to get educated on these topics and would gradually start to increase the ways that they can reduce their footprint. Even though you can teach the kids these things some will still forget sometimes and will not do it. I am guilty of this. Sometimes I forget to turn off my lights or turning off the water.
