Hello! My name is Eric and I am from Mooresville, NC, USA. I am currently 16 years old. My total carbon footprint is 17,180 kgs, which is slightly above the average in North Carolina. My footprint is well above the worldwide average, about 5 times more. The majority of my footprint comes from transportation because I drive a lot. I expected to be higher than the NC average and definitely higher than the worldwide average. The thing that surprised me is how low my purchases were. I learned that flying causes a very high carbon footprint. In order to decrease my footprint I need to carpool with friends and ride my bike more.
