Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My total average was 20,197 it was above average because of the food that I eat. I was very surprised because I thought that I would be about the same as other people, I have learned that I eat a lot more than most people and a lot of meat and airy products that increase my average a lot. I could do one thing that would decrease my carbon footprint tremendously just by eating less meat and dairy products If I did that my carbon footprint would come down a ton and be very similar to the average.
I agree that it is important to watch what you eat and to cut down on dairy. It would greatly decrease if you were to cut those things out of your diet. Meat and proteins also play a major part in calorie intake and sodium.
