My name is Gavin and I am 16 years old. I live in Mooresville, NC, USA. My carbon footprint came out rather high. My total calculated footprint was 38,594 kgs, which is over double the average in North Carolina. The majority of the carbon footprint came from my transportation. My results came as expected because the car I drive has low gas mileage. I have to fill up about every week even sooner sometimes. I wasn't surprised but I learned how much my driving habits affect the environment. To decrease my carbon footprint I will eventually purchase a car with better gas mileage and lower emissions.
Mine came mostly from transportation as well, crazy how much traveling people do nowadays. My car is low gas mileage also so I understand the struggles it contains. Your total carbon footprint was a lot higher than mine, but I do not really understand why it would be.
