My Own Sustainable City
If I could design my own city I would make it as eco-friendly as possible but have it be convenient at the same time. In my city I would add dirt beds for greenery on the rooftops of buildings. This not only reduces runoff by 50%, but it also saves 15-45% energy consumption. Also, I would improve public transportation. If we improve the cleanliness of public transportation I think a lot more people would be inclined to use it. Public transportation already saves 4.2million gallons of gas each year and if we improved it we could save so much more!
