Vegetable Oil run cars
The transportation in my sustainable city would run mostly off of vegetable oil. You can easily alter your diesel car to run on vegetable oil, and it is much better for the environment. In the US alone, has produced an excess of 11 billion gallons of waste vegetable oil since 2000. Running your car on vegetable oil is relatively non- toxic, unlike gasoline. Also from running your car on vegetable oil, it can give you more miles to the gallon, and no noticeable changes to the engine if altered correctly. If all buses, cars and other modes of transportation were run like this, the world would have a lower carbon footprint and be able to get where they need to go.
