Ayla's Carbon Footprint
My name is Ayla. I am from Mooresville, North Carolina, USA. I am 16 years old. My carbon footprint was relatively small. My total was 5,238 kgs. It was below average for my region. The majority of my carbon footprint was coming from my house. It was at 2,454 kgs. My reaction was that I was surprised. I thought that it would be higher. I learned that I am very environmentally friendly compared to some families in my region. I want to reduce my footprint and I will make sure that I accomplish it by getting better at recycling, driving less, and taking shorter showers.
