Here's your chance not just to be the mayor, but the original city planner as well! Imagine a medium sized city that would be developed with modern, low carbon transportation in mind, and other strategies to reduce the average citizens' carbon footprints.
What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?

Switching Out light bulbs
According to http://www.forbes.com/fdc/welcome_mjx.shtml incandescent light bulbs produce about 90% of their energy from heat a day. Over the course of a year a single 60 watts incandescent, used for 10 hours a day, produces 220 kilowatts. That's a lot of energy! In comparison LED light bulbs will produce the same amount of light, but will only produce about 10 watts a day. If you use an LED light bulb for 10 hours a day for a year it will only have produced 37 kilowatts of energy. This is such a big difference in the amount of energy produced, and LED light bulbs will save you an average of 80% of the course of one year in comparison to incandescent light bulbs. Also they last up to at least 10 times longer than the average incandescent light bulbs. Make the switch today! I agree with you 100%. I really liked how you quoted Forbes to show evidence and prove your point. As you state the watts of each lightbulb the reader is better able to understand the importance of making the switch!! Great job!!
