What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?

My vision of a futuristic city
My sustainable and futuristic city would be powered by electricity produced by the solar panels.Every building would have solar panels on the roof and that electricity would be used to power the subway system,street lights and households.There would be electric car charging stations across the city enabling quick and easy ways to recharge electric cars.Bicycle tracks would be constructed in such way that they enable easy access to all parts of the city encouraging the citizens to use bikes for transportation.
While this vision may sen unreasonable at this point in time, I have no time that soon this vision will become reality. It is admirable to have such high hopes and plans for the future of the world and how the average everyday life is lived. The only complication i find in your vision is through the use of solar panels. I find solar panels to be dangerous and inefficient. The number of birds hat have died by spontaneous combustion due to Solar panels is startling. I find that the future of electricity and power can be found deep beneath the surface of the Earth through thermal energy. It is entirely clean and efficient as well as being entirely renewable. Nothing is hurt or sacrificed for the sake of energy and it is completely unlimited. Again, This vision is not only optimistic, but will soon be reality.
That sounds like a city I would like to live in! Although it maybe sounds like an unrealistic utopia for the world we live in today.
