Public Transport and Renewable Energy Sources
I think the two largest ways to help make a city more sustainable is the energy use of large buildings and public transportation. My city would include eco friendly public transportation which would limit the amount of emissions from individual cars and also prevent traffic and congestion. I would also want to look at major buildings and skyscrapers and attempt to isolate them more and give them more sustainable heating and cooling systems that would reduce each buildings use of energy (http://environment.nationalgeographic.c … stainable/). I would also implement city wide solar panels on large buildings in order to use a more renewable sense of energy to run our city.
