Small Thing Make a Big Difference
Obviously the big things like proper light bulbs, public transportation, and recycling make huge impacts, but small changes can make big impacts as well. Changes like using a non-electric toothbrush, planting a tree to create shade, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, or watching a movie in the dark. These are all easy things to do and in the long run can make a huge impact.
I agree that even the small things can make a difference, If everyone contributed even in the slightest way, we could see big changes in our world. Like instead of just leaving a water bottle on the street, pick it up and put it in a recycling bin. If everyone did this, we could see changes in pollution's impact or we could see the rates of extinction go down even!
