Better Driving Needed
Biking and walking to places instead of driving would help the environment greatly, but how are people supposed to be encouraged to do this when so many cycling and pedestrian accidents occur every year? According to this website ( http://www.rospa.com/road-safety/advice … s-figures/ ) around 19,000 cyclists are killed or injured every year. In order for people to take action and drive less, stricter driving rules are needed. Drivers must be more willing to follow these rules in order to lessen the amount of accidents per year and to ensure people's safety. Bikers and pedestrians need a safe environment in order to help the environment we live in and to encourage others to do the same.
