Here's your chance not just to be the mayor, but the original city planner as well! Imagine a medium sized city that would be developed with modern, low carbon transportation in mind, and other strategies to reduce the average citizens' carbon footprints.
What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?

Recycling
Recycling is worth it. By recycling your paper alone, every ton recycled will save the equivalent of 165 gallons of gasoline. The average person in the United States uses 500 pounds of paper annually. But why stop there?
Recycling is not mandated, so many people choose not to do it, especially because services cost money and recycling stations are not always located in convenient places. If more recycling stations are set up around the city, more people would be encouraged to participate. These stations don't need to be anywhere special. They could be located near office buildings and other businesses and do not take up much space.
