Here's your chance not just to be the mayor, but the original city planner as well! Imagine a medium sized city that would be developed with modern, low carbon transportation in mind, and other strategies to reduce the average citizens' carbon footprints.
What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?
Sustainable City >
Transportation
Students should start carpooling with their friends to school, in order to reduce gas emission, which in turn reduces Carbon Dioxide emission.
Or the school bus
I agree, more people should start taking the school buses, or public transportation to get to school.
Not only should we carpool and take the bus to school, we should try and look to these ways of transportation as ways we get around daily. Public transportation and riding bikes is an efficient and sustainable way to travel. Carbon footprints will be reduced, and CO2 won't be emitted as much.
I think is a good idea for students to take the bus and carpool but taking the school bus is better for transportation.
BART is a great way to get anywhere for those of us living in the Bay Area, California; it saves money, time in traffic, and it's electric.
