Here's your chance not just to be the mayor, but the original city planner as well! Imagine a medium sized city that would be developed with modern, low carbon transportation in mind, and other strategies to reduce the average citizens' carbon footprints.
What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?

Rooftop Gardens
If there were rooftop gardens that would make it so buildings wouldn't be taking away space that plants are usually in and its not like the roofs of buildings are being used for something else. Rooftop gardens also could provide food, temperature control, and even possible ecosystems.
I agree! There should be more rooftop gardens because it helps the atmosphere have cleaner and more oxygen instead of harmful gases used to control how plants grow. Also without having to use green houses to control the temperature there is less carbon and green house gases in the atmosphere.
Nice thought! I agree rooftop gardens would be very beneficial. Not only will it give space for plants and vegetation that would usually be taken up by building development, the gardens would greatly reduce runoff in cities that contribute to water pollution. . My only concern is that most roofs are not currently prepared to support gardens on top of them. Do you think this may be a significant setback?
But not to forget but most people are lazy and dont want to carry the responsibility of caring for something. and it also depends on the type of plant planted and where the building is located.
