Sustainable City

Here's your chance not just to be the mayor, but the original city planner as well! Imagine a medium sized city that would be developed with modern, low carbon transportation in mind, and other strategies to reduce the average citizens' carbon footprints.

What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?

Home Gardening

Home gardening is a good option if you live in the city and do not have enough room to plant on your backyard. Some very simple things to do to grow at home will be planting plants by your window  or in any space in your home to create photosynthesis. and keep the plant healthy. This method can help clean the air, you can eat what you grow at home and reuse the seeds later on.

I agree with this, according to the Live Strong website, "Home-grown vegetables require less energy to produce, package and transport than vegetables grown in other locales...people who grow their own fruits and vegetables use ecologically responsible gardening practices, including compost and chemical-free pest control, to cultivate foods." Having home gardens is highly helpful to reduce our Carbon foot print. Like what Nataly said, if you don't have room in your backyard, a community garden is always possible and as well as lowering your carbon footprint, it can bring people together.
