Here's your chance not just to be the mayor, but the original city planner as well! Imagine a medium sized city that would be developed with modern, low carbon transportation in mind, and other strategies to reduce the average citizens' carbon footprints.
What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?
Sustainable City >
Carpools and Public Transportation
To create a sustainable city, we should carpool with other people who are going to the same destination. One car uses less gas than two and much less than three. We should also ride on buses on trains to lessen the cars from emitting CO2 into the air.
Having car pool for more people can reduce the CO2 in our air by a lot over time. It can help us save our energy and use less for it to become less expensive.
We should also ride more bikes and run when possible. Riding bikes and walking/running extremely reduces the amount of CO2 in the air. But since you can't ride bikes or run to every destination, carpooling is also very efficient.
We should carpool to saved more materials. I also agree with Nicole we should run more. We should also walk instead of using cars if we live close.
We should walk, ride bikes and use public transport more because it would really decrease the amount of CO2 you contribute to the air.
To decrease carbon footprints, we should carpool, use public transportations, and etc. It helps saving carbon because it uses less gas which save carbon. Also walking and riding bikes help because it does not use carbon, which reduces the amount of carbon that is in the air.
