Here's your chance not just to be the mayor, but the original city planner as well! Imagine a medium sized city that would be developed with modern, low carbon transportation in mind, and other strategies to reduce the average citizens' carbon footprints.
What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?
Sustainable City >
Transportation
I would make everyone walk, bike, or take public transportation. People could only drive electric cars with a permit and every car must have 3 or more people inside. Driving emits carbon dioxide which hurts the atmosphere, and it also causes pollution. Walking and biking save carbon dioxide from being emitted. Public transportation would be like a very large carpool, saving greenhouse gases from heading up into the atmosphere. Everything must be as natural as possible in my city. There will be no factories puffing out greenhouse gases into the atmosphere in my city and we will not have to rely on them.
