Here's your chance not just to be the mayor, but the original city planner as well! Imagine a medium sized city that would be developed with modern, low carbon transportation in mind, and other strategies to reduce the average citizens' carbon footprints.
What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?

Healthy Living
To live healthy, you have to be in a healthy environment. We all know that growing our own plants and vegetables is hard, laberous, work that most families don't have time for. Local farmer's markets not only help to have healthy, wholesome food in your fridge, but it helps the farmers who grow the food to earn more money to upgrade and create more food. Junk food shouldn't be as popular as it is. Yes it tastes good, but is the outcome really worth it? Not only does it strain your motabolism but the ingredients that make up junk food are awful for you, it slows you down, and overall is not healthy at all. Companies gain lots of money from selling these things but is having money in your bank worth making millions of unhealthy people around the world. We need to cut back on car usage. Not only does it put carbon dioxide into our air, we use tremendous amounts of water cleaning it, and we spend so much money on gas and the car itself, also, the gas is awful for the environment. Instead, bike, or walk. It not only helps your muscles and your health, but it helps the environment too.
I agree with you, but it is important to keep in mind that for some people certain healthy alternatives are not an option, often due to financial instability/a lack of funds. I'm sure the majority of people would choose to stock their cabinets with locally grown fresh food over junk food if money weren't an issue. It's equally as important to make sure that people have access to healthier options as it is to take it upon ourselves to implement healthy lifestyle changes.
