My name is J.C. I am a 16 year old student from Mooresville, North Carolina, USA. My total carbon footprint was 13,001 kg. It was below the 15,918 kg average for my region. The majority of the my footprint came from the home section. I kind of expected to be slightly below the average because my family didn’t take many vacations far away this year, keeping my transportation total lower. I was surprised about how high my food carbon footprint was. In the future I can use more efficient energy around my home such as more efficient lightbulbs.
