Jay Loftin: Mooresville, NC, USA (Age 16)
My names is Jay Loftin and I’m from Mooresville, North Carolina, I’m 16 years old. My carbon footprint is 14,345, in my region this is below average, but compared to the world it’s above average. The majority of my footprint came from transportation and this surprised me. I didn’t expect my transportation to be that high because I don’t really drive that much. I did learn though that compared to others I drive a lot. To decrease my footprint I could drive less and walk to places more often.
