Here's your chance not just to be the mayor, but the original city planner as well! Imagine a medium sized city that would be developed with modern, low carbon transportation in mind, and other strategies to reduce the average citizens' carbon footprints.
What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?

The main transportation in this city would be electric powered cars and trains. This would get rid of the problem of cars giving off carbon emissions. There would be charging stations all around the city to prevent the problem of ever running out of electricity. To power and light buildings, solar panels would be used on all buildings to take energy from the sun. There would be wind mills just outside the city for even more power. This would mean that there would no longer be a need to rely on coal and other fossil fuels as power sources. If the solar and wind solutions were not to generate enough electricity, hydropower would be a good alternative. Compost would be the main waste solution in the city so mostly everything could be put back into the earth. A reduced use in plastic and other non-compostable products would make the city not have to heavily rely on unsustainable waste solutions.
