Here's your chance not just to be the mayor, but the original city planner as well! Imagine a medium sized city that would be developed with modern, low carbon transportation in mind, and other strategies to reduce the average citizens' carbon footprints.
What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?

Sustainable City
In my sustainable city, everyday necessities should not harm the environment around us. To prevent less carbon monoxide from cars, we will use bikes, scooters, and/or skateboards. Cars are responsible for 75% of carbon monoxide in the air. In areas where driving is a necessity 50%-90% of this harmful carbon monoxide leads to air pollution. To waste less water, we would produce wheat instead of meat because it takes approximately 2,400 gallons of water for just one pound of meat compared to 25 gallons to produce one pound of wheat. Alongside growing wheat, we would also plant and grow more trees and plants. Plants have the ability to take in carbon and release oxygen. We would also recycle and reuse. This would reduce the waste that gets into the streets and oceans that cause harm to living things around it.
