Sustainable City

Here's your chance not just to be the mayor, but the original city planner as well! Imagine a medium sized city that would be developed with modern, low carbon transportation in mind, and other strategies to reduce the average citizens' carbon footprints.

What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?

Factors of a Sustainable City

Most cities don’t have many trees and have a lot of factories so I think in a sustainable would switch those. I think there should be a lot more trees and all major factories should be a far distance from the city. The city should also use more ecofriendly technology. For example, instead of driving gas cars people would drive electric or liquid nitrogen cars. Bikes and walking would also be advertised a lot more and highly recommended. The use of solar panels for electricity would also be recommended so people would be less likely to leave lights and televisions on. We would also breed more plants that will better our water and make sure that the life in the water is unbothered, whether it is by citizens or unhealthy drainage from sewers.

I definitely agree with you because to have a sustainable city it needs to be able to thrive and support all its factors within its city. In cities their tends to be a lot of bad air which is a result of traffic jams by gas cars. To resolve this issue your idea of planting trees is a very good idea that can easily be achieved.
