Sustainable City

Here's your chance not just to be the mayor, but the original city planner as well! Imagine a medium sized city that would be developed with modern, low carbon transportation in mind, and other strategies to reduce the average citizens' carbon footprints.

What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?

A sustainable city

In my opinion, a sustainable city would take a lot of effort but can be achievable. That city could have better transit. They could find new ways to fuel energy and build better roads and transportation because of traffic congestion can be difficult. Traffic congestion could lead to burning of the gas and ultimately harm the city. The preservations of natural assets like waterways, parks, and other places could make the city livable. Without having waterways, parks and other places, the city would be filled with buildings and would release a lot of gasses and other things that can harm the city. With more parks and other natural places, the city wouldn’t only look good but would be good for the city in the long run. It wouldn’t hurt the city but help it. With advancing in a city, more buildings and would be made. If that were the case, there should be a cleaner energy source. They should not rely on fossil fuels and those kinds of gasses. A solution could be havin g more solar panels and recycling waste heat.
