Here's your chance not just to be the mayor, but the original city planner as well! Imagine a medium sized city that would be developed with modern, low carbon transportation in mind, and other strategies to reduce the average citizens' carbon footprints.
What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?

Sustainable city
the city would be very energy efficient with a small use of bad gases, and lots of bikes.
I feel that another way that we could help impact the Earth is by reducing the amount of waste that is put into the ocean and into other public places. One of the things that I have seen that has had a large impact is the reusing of some of the waste that is made of materials that can be easily reused such as plastic, and the things made from them reusable waste.
I agree, that reducing the amount of waste would make a positive impact on Earth. Most of the waste that finds its way into the Ocean, ends up in the north pacific garbage patch. The garbage patch is bigger than the size of Texas. Many animals on our planet die from mistakenly eating the garbage. Humans are the cause for this problem. You can reuse items like plastic to make other items. Littering will make the garbage patch grow. While people have tried to help this growing problem, it only seems to get worse, so we have to keep in mind that in order to reduce the amount of waste, we must find an effective way to dispose of it first.
I agree, we should also begin using energy like solar and wind to power our electricity so that we don't have burn as many fossil fuels to help the environment. If we do not use cars or transportation powers by gas we would lower the amount of pollution in our atmosphere. We should also lower the amount of times we light a fire during winter in our house because that will raise the amount of carbon dioxide in our air.
