Here's your chance not just to be the mayor, but the original city planner as well! Imagine a medium sized city that would be developed with modern, low carbon transportation in mind, and other strategies to reduce the average citizens' carbon footprints.
What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?

Sustainable City
I will use the city of Ferguson, MI, as my medium sized city, they have about 25,000 citizens. From what I have seen low-carbon transportation is available. They come in the forms of electric cars, magnetic trains, and ion charged buses. My city will equip all of these for my citizens to reduce their carbon footprint. Since I am using Ferguson as an example, the city is bordered with the Mississippi river the city can harness the energy for the strong current and use that river as our main source of energy. More ways for the city to lower its carbon would be placing itself near carbon sinks, and especially having the carbon sinks be near the sources to reduce all carbon emissions. The actually shape of the city doesn't affect its carbon output. Having a nice sustainable city would be great but I would only live there if I could be successful to my peers and myself.
