Here's your chance not just to be the mayor, but the original city planner as well! Imagine a medium sized city that would be developed with modern, low carbon transportation in mind, and other strategies to reduce the average citizens' carbon footprints.
What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?

In the USA, transportation takes up a large portion of our CO2 emissions. To reduce this, we should introduce more hydrogen powered cars. These cars burn hydrogen rather than gasoline, which means that they emit water vapor into the air rather then greenhouse gasses! Biking and walking is another way to help bring down this level, as well as transit buses in smaller cities. If more cities use transit buses, there will be less vehicles driving around, which again helps reduce CO2 emissions. Overall, if we just change a couple of things involving transportation, we could bring the unnatural CO2 level WAY down.
I agree that if people can make small decisions involving the way they get around our CO2 levels would completely change dramatically ,since transportation is a big part of life and is a big cause increases of CO2 emissions and global warming. Most people don't make small changes in their transportation because they think its more work but thats completely false. People can bike, run, or if its long distance people use public transportation ,or they can switch over to hydrogen powered cars like you said. Overall we all need to think of our future and make better decisions like thinking about transportation.

I agree with both of those statements and agree that something should be done to change the amount of CO2 levels but in my experience people are not that willing to change their ways over night. Most people don't change their ways over night just because they are accustomed to doing things a certain way. They get used to that way and it becomes like a habit of sorts and changing habits that we have had for most to all of our lives is going to take an extremely long time to change.
So many people believe that individually they cannot make a difference in combatting global warming, but like you said, even small things can make a difference. If everyone makes a small change it can make a huge impact. I'm not sure many people are fully aware of the consequences of global climate change, and what they can do to help. Raising awareness of things like hydrogen cars, as well as having major national and global leaders coming out in support of this would increase awareness and inspire people to convert to hydrogen powered cars.
I agree that we should make more sustainable cities. Lots of carbon emissions come from transportation which is an area we can cut back on. Instead of everyone owning a car in a city, perhaps we should start carpooling with people going to the same place or use more fuel efficient busses to get where we're trying to go. This would largely cutback on the carbon emissions in large cities.
I agree that we should make our cities more sustainable. It is a very simple task to do. We emit a lot of gasoline into our atmosphere through our cars and transportation. In 2015, there was a registered 263.6 million cars in the U.S.A. alone. If we carpool more or walk and bike we can cut down the CO2 levels.
I partially agree because according to the National Centers for Environmental Information, a high concentration of water vapor can absorb IR energy radiated from the Earth, which will heat up the atmosphere. On the other hand, using public transportation in smaller cities would work and would easily reduce CO2 levels.
I do also believe that we should find alternate big sources of fuel besides Carbon Dioxide because of how much it destroys our earth. But, I do not think that we can rely purely on hydraulics and hydro powered cars. Hydraulics would not be able to be implemented into cars with such a small engine and be similarly effective to fossil fuels.
