Here's your chance not just to be the mayor, but the original city planner as well! Imagine a medium sized city that would be developed with modern, low carbon transportation in mind, and other strategies to reduce the average citizens' carbon footprints.
What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?

Sustainable city
In my opinion we can start making a change in our city by using less our cars and start using bikes, we can also start avoiding using to many paper and introduce a new system where we can use more technology instead of using tons of paper.
I agree that we should be using cars less but I don't think that we should be using bikes as a substitute. Most people can't bike as far as they can drive, cars go faster than bikes, and bikes can't go on freeways. People aren't going to make an effort to ride bikes and reduce their carbon footprint if it inconveniences them that much. Instead, I think people should use public transportation more or use electric cars that don't leave as big of a footprint.
I think that both biking, electric cars and public transportation are good ideas, however, it's important to keep in mind that electricity is not a clean source of electricity either. Sure it is better than gasoline, but it's a large contributor to carbon dioxide waste. I think that one idea for a more eco friendly car would be an electric car that is fuelled by solar power. Charging stations for the cars could be solar powered. While your car is parked (while at work or such) it could be plugged into a charging station powered by the sun! I'm not totally sure how practical this is but I think that it could be very efficient.
I agree using bikes would help our city a lot. Animals would be a lot happier and also the environment. The paper situation interests me and i think that that could happen with lots of hard work
