1.Turn off appliances and lights that you’re not using.
2.Install energy-efficient appliances.
3.Use a programmable thermostat that lowers or raises the temperature when you’re not home.
4.Set your thermostat lower than usual in the winter and bundle up.
5.Open windows to allow a breeze instead of turning on the air conditioning.
6.Hang clothes to dry instead of using the dryer.
