Here's your chance not just to be the mayor, but the original city planner as well! Imagine a medium sized city that would be developed with modern, low carbon transportation in mind, and other strategies to reduce the average citizens' carbon footprints.
What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?

What we can do
What we can do to stop these bad changes. Lots of the population's footprint is higher because of all the unnecessary electricity, gas powered machinery and water usage. This doesn't mean you should never use gas or electricity a lot but there are ways to minimize it. This would impact our whole world because it would create a society where we don't have to worry about global warming and CO2 release as much.
SO what can we do to reduce this? If you want to contribute without spending so much money one of the everyday things you can do is to carpool. Carpooling not only saves our planet from global warming but it also saves you money. Another easy way to help with out spending money is to pay attention to your garbage. Yep that's right your garbage can help with this problem and if everyone does their part to recycle and put correct things in the landfill then were one step closer. But if you really wanna help and can spend a few bucks then solar panels is the way to go. Solar can help save you on money in the long run and gas powered ACs, heaters, water heaters etc are much better for CO2 release if powered by solar.
I completely agree carpooling is a big thing that can reduce Co2 release. It is something that actually ends up saving people gas money in the long run. In Houston, carpooling also means you can get in the HOV lane and skip the traffic. This link is to a story about random people that carpool together in Houston: http://www.dallasobserver.com/news/in-h … as-7105524
