Other Methods of Transportation other than Driving
In 2016, the United States Government conducted a study of the amount of carbon released by cars. The results said 1,540 million metric tons of carbon dioxide were released by transportation vehicles. That is 82% of the total transportation emissions. To help with carbon emissions, people could bike and walk to destinations. Not only does that help the environment, it also helps with living a healthier lifestyle. If you do not have the ability to bike or walk places while still remaining safe, you could also take public transportation such as a bus, train, or trolley. This would help get you and other people places with less carbon emission.
