Here's your chance not just to be the mayor, but the original city planner as well! Imagine a medium sized city that would be developed with modern, low carbon transportation in mind, and other strategies to reduce the average citizens' carbon footprints.
What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?
Sustainable City >
A different city
If I could have my own city I would change many Things. Within the city, means of transport that removes carbon dioxide will be replaced by bicycles, people will obey the rules of recycling and throw the garbage into the appropriate container. The green spaces will be numerous, natural light will be used as much as possible, and the artificial light will be produced by economic light bulbs. I consider that this would point out an ecological city.
It's nice to see what you would put in this diffrent city of yours. My question is how would you accomplish this?Meaning how would you enforce the rule that people use bicycles or throw their recyclables and trash to put them in the appropriate container's. Another thing to ponder about is how would you get the numerous green spaces in your city? What would be your budget to build this whole new city?
