Here's your chance not just to be the mayor, but the original city planner as well! Imagine a medium sized city that would be developed with modern, low carbon transportation in mind, and other strategies to reduce the average citizens' carbon footprints.
What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?

A Sustainable City
There are many ways to build a sustainable city. To start off, I would fill my city with lots of plants to absorb the CO2 in the area. I would even put plants on and on top of buildings. Next, my city would be a bit smaller and more compact so that not as much travel is needed to get from place to place. Transportation would consist or electric cars, bikes and futuristic solar powered vehicles. These means of transportation would not burn fossil fuels and would greatly reduce the amount of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere. Lastly, products and foods would be produced locally, reducing the amount of transportation needed to ship these products. Local stores would also support the city's economics and community. This sustainable city would lead to a greater and more environmentally friendly world.
