Here's your chance not just to be the mayor, but the original city planner as well! Imagine a medium sized city that would be developed with modern, low carbon transportation in mind, and other strategies to reduce the average citizens' carbon footprints.
What would that city look like? Would that make you more likely to want to live there?

Sustainable City
There are many ways that cities could easily lower their CO2 emission. In my sustainable city, there would be a lot more public transportation methods such as bikes, trains, buses and more bike lanes would be installed. This city would encourage you to use these methods of transportation instead of lots of cars. There would also be an abundance of parks and public gardens that the communities could harvest local and organic foods from. The city would also have lots of solar panels to save the burning of coal for electricity, and it would promote energy renewable products that would lower the amount of electricity they use. Another thing that this city would have is the use of renewable items that one could reuse instead of simply throwing it away. Citizen would have to bring their own bags to supermarkets or stores and packaging for companies and stores could be made out of compostable material. These are just a few ideas on how to lower CO2 rates for future sustainable cities.
